Display Car In Real Time

Since the BMW digital dash is fully digitized, it’s able to display numerous pieces of information according to your needs. The pivotal ones – that is the rev counter, the speedometer, the fuel level and the engine temperature – cover the largest portion of the BMW digital dash on both sides, making it easy to track the economy of your driving at all times.

Get Info In Your Line Of Sight

And the best part is? You see all the info right before your eyes. If you don’t have a BMW head up display (HUD) with the digital BMW speedometer you won’t have to shift your focus on and off the iDrive screen or turn to the side to check the next turn. Just quickly glance at your cockpit for another music track or nav direction and stay focused when reving high on the highway.

For your notice, in vehicles with Head-Up Display (HUD), after installation, navigation directions will be shown on the BMW speedometer, not on the HUD.

BMW Digital Cluster Modes

Depending on the driving mode you’re in you’ll see a different BMW digital dash layout. This 6WB digital cluster consists of three setups for three driving modes: BMW Comfort mode, BMW Eco Pro mode and BMW Sport mode (together with BMW Sport Plus mode).

BMW Comfort Mode

The BMW Comfort mode is a default driving setting you see after starting your BMW’s engine. It displays the speedometer on the left and the tachometer on the right, and thanks to their neutral lighting it ensures good visibility during the day and night.

BMW ECO PRO Mode

For a more efficient style of driving ECO PRO will be your go-to mode, as it provides the best gas efficiency at the cost of performance. 

In ECO PRO mode the tachometer is replaced with an EfficientDynamics gauge on the right, which tracks the efficiency of your driving style and encourages you to follow the ECO PRO tips. Along with the mode switch, the cluster also changes the design into a more eco style display, with a touch of blue. 

BMW Sport & BMW Sport Plus Mode

However, if you’re in a mood for a little more excitement and want your car to become more aggressive, switch to one of the BMW Sport modes. 

In the sport mode the BMW digital dash will highlight speedometer and tachometer with red light giving your cluster a much more sporty look and feel.
