Description
Do you feel like your Tesla Model 3 doesn’t handle that well in the corners? While it’s undoubtedly fast in a straight line, the factory suspension setup leaves a lot to be desired. If you are looking for a way to make your everyday commute more exciting, our adjustable Tesla Model 3 Front Sway Bar Upgrade will do the trick.
Its solid steel design, compared to the hollow-tube one of the factory sway bars, provides a noticeable increase in rigidity. After installing this upgrade, you’ll feel less body roll straight away and with 2 levels of adjustment, you’ll definitely find the optimal setting for you.
What’s better is the fact that it’s a direct bolt-on replacement for the stock sway bar, meaning the installation is easy and no permanent modifications are required. Want to take this upgrade even further? Be sure to also check out our 2-way adjustable Tesla Sway Bar End Links (sold separately).
Installation
The process of installing the Tesla Model 3 Front Sway Bar Upgrade is plug-and-play, but it requires lifting your car. Overall, it will take approximately 90–120 minutes to complete the replacement of the factory-mounted part.
CAUTION! Whenever working under a car, take extra care to ensure that it’s lifted in a stable way. Apart from placing it on jack stands, it’s also good to leave the trolley jack (if you have one) under the central lift point and lie down the wheels under each of the side lift points.
If you don’t feel confident lifting your car or working beneath it, have a specialized workshop perform this installation for you. BimmerTech does not take any responsibility for any damages or injuries resulting from improper handling of tools and DIY work.
