Reverse Camera Switching Relay

If you drive a pre-2005 BMW or Range Rover, it might feel like having an integrated rear view camera is a pipe dream. But if your vehicle is equipped with the TV function on the dashboard display, adding a park assist camera is a real option.

Made to connect to the TV video module and a third-party NTSC camera (not included), this relay will switch to the camera input when you’re reversing. You’ll then be able to see the rear view camera display on your BMW’s integrated dashboard display.

Comes with all the proper wiring to connect to your BMW’s TV video module, and RCA inputs for your camera.

Made for pre-2005 vehicles with the TV function. For later vehicles with the iDrive system, we recommend our MMI Rear View Camera retrofit for BMW instead.

The Reverse Camera Switching Relay installation process takes around an hour, with additional time for installing the camera module. You will be required to remove the trim panels to gain access to the TV video module and connect the relay.
