Description
While it’s brake pads and rotors that make you safely come to a stop, BMW Brake Pad Wear Sensor is what helps you replace the worn components on time. Whenever you are having your pads replaced, these OEM wear sensors also need to be changed for new ones to ensure maximum reliability. The wear sensor is meant to be installed on the outer right rear brake pad.
IMPORTANT: this product listing refers only to the OEM Rear BMW Brake Pad Wear Sensor. BMW Brake Pads and Brake Paste are sold separately (also available in our store).
Please note that to ensure the compatibility of this product with your car, you will need to decode your VIN prior to placing an order.
Installation
Replacing the rear BMW Brake Pad Wear Sensor of your car is intermediately advanced and will take you some time (around 2 hours). The process will involve lifting the rear axle and bleeding the brake system.
IMPORTANT: since your safety is heavily reliant on the proper operation of the brake system, only attempt this replacement job if you have the appropriate mechanical experience.
