Description
Want to update the styling of your pre-LCI BMW 2 Series? Or maybe you just want to mix things up to not get bored? Either way, we’ve got you covered – check out our OEM Black Line tail lights upgrade for F22, F23, and F87 generation BMW 2 Series models.
This direct-fit rear lights upgrade brings the newest LED lighting technology to your trusty old bimmer. Two color options for the turn signals are available: red from the US-spec and the optional orange from the European version, which will surely make your car stand out and add a unique flare to it.
The tail lights upgrade will not work without proper coding. Be sure to include the remote coding option in your cart.
Installation
The installation is simple, but you will need to replace the connectors and repin them before inserting the new tail lights.
The process itself consists of 2 main steps:
- Installation, which takes up to 30 minutes.
- Coding – after the installation is finished, it is necessary to schedule a remote coding session with a BimmerTech technician.
Please note that removing some internal taillight covers in the trunk will be required. It is also recommended that you cover the bumper below the taillight with masking tape, to protect it from scratches.
The kit includes:
- Left taillight assembly
- Right taillight assembly
- 6-pin connectors (2 pcs)
If you do not have a coding cable, you will need to purchase one for your coding session. You can add it at the top of the page.
The installation is 100% reversible. No permanent modifications to the interior/exterior of your car are needed.
