BMW Active Park Distance Control (PDC) equips your car with parking sensors that use ultrasound to measure the distance to the nearest obstacles. The system turns on when your vehicle is less than 80 cm away from the closest large object and approaching, or less than 30cm when your BMW isn’t moving.
PDC retrofit warns you about any obstacles with a distinctive acoustic signal, and different warning colors on the iDrive screen as your vehicle draws closer.

Installation
