Just enter your iDrive’s Media/Radio menu and you’ll see BMW SiriusXM Satellite radio alongside other music sources, such as FM radio or your BMW's AUX input. With the use of your iDrive controller and steering wheel buttons you’ll be able to quickly switch between stations, browse categories or access your preset favorite SiriusXM channels.

BMW SiriusXM satellite signal covers Canada, 48 contiguous US states and surrounding waters, with partial coverage in Puerto Rico.

If you’re based in the state of Alaska or Hawaii you may not be able to access SiriusXM through the satellite radio signal, yet you'll have access to it via online streaming service.

That being said, SiriusXM's All Access package isn’t limited to in-car use. Thanks to the included streaming option through the SiriusXM app you can easily listen to all your favorite stations whether you’re at home or at the gym.

The SiriusXM app is available for PCs, Xbox One, iOS and Android devices.

SiriusXM Satellite Radio is activated with the help of a USB stick and 15 minutes of your time. All you need to do is to save the coding file (that we send to you in an email) to a USB drive and connect it to your car. After following some easy instructions, the Satellite Radio will be unlocked. Of course, as the last step you will need to call SiriusXM directly and get your subscription activated.
