MMI Prime to PRO Upgrade Program – Terms & Conditions

For US customers

The CarPlay or Android Auto MMI Prime to PRO upgrade is available only to customers whose MMI Prime units are still under the warranty and show normal signs of use.
We reserve the right to reject units that arrive damaged or extensively worn.
In the case a returned MMI Prime unit arrives damaged, we will send it back at the expense of the customer.
The upgrade program offer is available until January 31, 2024.
The basic cost of the upgrade is $299. It only covers a brand-new MMI PRO main unit, without any accessories. The MMI Prime harnesses and cables are compatible with the MMI PRO.
The head unit must be original. The upgrade is not meant for customers with aftermarket or replacement head units.
The customer is responsible for returning their MMI Prime unit at their own expense (we do not cover the return shipping cost). Prime should be sent to our Orlando office, at 6925 Lake Ellenor Dr, Suite 501A, Orlando, FL 32809.
When sending the old MMI Prime to us, only the product requested should be packaged and sufficiently insulated to prevent any damage in transit.
The parcel should be shipped to us using UPS, USPS, FedEx, or DHL services. We won't accept a parcel shipped using a different provider.
For any parcels sent at the expense of the customer, we require the tracking information (ID, link, etc.). This way, we will be able to monitor the package and process it quicker in our system.
The MMI PRO will be delivered within 7 days after the payment has been registered and the MMI Prime unit returned and accepted by BimmerTech.
It is possible to receive the MMI PRO unit first and send Prime back in a return package after paying a refundable deposit of $299. The Prime unit needs to be returned within 21 days of receiving the PRO upgrade.
The MMI PRO upgrade does not extend the warranty period of the replaced MMI Prime unit, i.e., the remaining warranty coverage of the Prime unit still applies. For example: if there are three months of warranty coverage left for Prime, the PRO upgrade will remain under warranty for three months as well.
It is possible to purchase a 1-year warranty coverage renewal with the upgrade (effective from the date of the upgrade). The warranty extension costs 20% of the total upgrade price.
The MMI PRO units are shipped in a standard box, different from the regular retail box used for full kits.

For non-US customers
